NEW GLASS SMART ROOM CONTROLLER

The Central Operation Unit Smart combines a large number of functions in one device and serves as a central control unit for your Smart Home. The integrated astronomical timer moves the blinds up in the morning automatically and down again after sunset. In addition, the outdoor lighting and the basic lighting are switched on in the house at sunset until midnight. All timer functions and switching times are individually adjustable.

You can for Example set the comfort temperature individually for all rooms, or activate automatic shading via the menu control. You can also lock your blinds for window cleaning or activate your KNX alarm system via the integrated code lock.

Four sensor surfaces are available for selected direct operating functions. Twenty further functions can be controlled via menu and/or time switch. Overall, all functions can be operated intuitively and conveniently with the 6 sensor surfaces. The large active colour display shows indoor/outdoor temperature, temperature set points, date/time, sunrise/sunset, clear text and alarm messages are visualised. The Glass Central Operation Unit Smart is the ideal complement to the Glass Push Button II Smart. The recommended mounting height is 1,6m.

WEINZIERL PRESENTS THE NEW ACTUATOR UNIVERSAL BINARY INTERFACE WITH TWO EXPANSION MODULE

Weinzierl presents the new actuator universal binary interface with two expansion modules

KNX IP Multi IO 580
The KNX IP Multi IO 580 is a universal binary interface for building control. It provides 48 I/O lines. Each line can be used as binary input as well as binary output. The peripherals can be fed by an external voltage of 24 V?. Channels which are configured as inputs can be used to control lights or blinds via the KNX network. They also can be used to count impulses, e.g. as interface for energy meters. Channels which are configured as outputs can directly drive signal LEDs, external coupling relays (e.g.Multi IO extension 590) or jalousie relays (Multi IO Extension 592).

The device works using the medium KNX IP. It can be configured using the ETS (Version 4.2 or higher) with native parameters and standard group objects. Also the KNX addressing scheme, based on individual device address and group objects, is unchanged. An easy to read OLED display on the front panel enables a manual operation to test the installation.

Multi IO Extension 590
The Multi IO Extension 590 serves as a power-saving alternative to commercial standard coupling relays. The coupling relay is controlled as a mono-stable relay, but uses a bi-stable relay internally, thus reducing the holding current by up to 95%.
The Multi IO Extension 590 has an integrated fuse to protect high-quality equipment.

Multi IO Extension 592
The Multi IO Extension 592 for shutter has been specially developed for the control of blinds and shutters. The double relay is connected to only one output of a KNX Multi IO 570 or 580. The direction control of the relay outputs is performed automatically by the KNX Multi IO by a defined voltage interruption of the holding current.

The outputs are electro-mechanically locked against each other to prevent a motor defect.

The Multi IO Extension 592 has an integrated fuse to protect high-quality equipment.

The format of this hot water meter is new: The temperature range of the MULTICAL® 403 is from 15 to 130°C, so it's not just for hot, but also for cold.

Remote re-configuration and long-time accuracy

Flexibility and longtime accuracy
Now, you only need to keep one meter in stock. With MULTICAL® 403 everything from inlet/outlet position to energy unit, cut-off dates and much more can be configured individually via the meter’s front panel directly at the installation site.

This allows you to keep a low stock and save resources previously spent on planning.

Full flexibility
MULTICAL® 403 can be fitted with a selection of advanced communication modules. Kamstrup offers modules with Modbus, BACnet, M-bus, wireless M-bus and analogue outputs. By combining the meter’s very fast integration time and the modules’ optimised power consumption, you gain access to updated and very frequent meter data. By using M-Bus, the meter obtains a battery lifetime of up to 16 years with meter readings via the module every 10 seconds.

You can upgrade through separate software updates for the meter and module respectively as new possibilities and challenges occur without interfering with legal registers.
